Why over half our books are missing from Amazon. We shared info on "X" this morning:

A reader emailed this morning to ask why our new Stefan Grabinski book has been delisted from Amazon. For years now Amazon has been gradually delisting our books; however, in the past it's usually been older titles. Sometimes they would later show back up for sale; more often not. We have no way of forcing them to sell any particular book, unfortunately.

This week, however, we've noticed several of our brand-new October releases disappearing from sale on the US, Canada, and UK sites, with no explanation.

It seems the only way for us to ensure books are available on Amazon is to publish them through their own proprietary publishing program instead. But of course we can all be sure this isn't some deliberate plot by Amazon because, you know, antitrust.

As a reminder, all our books are available on our website, usually cheaper than Amazon. They're on Barnes & Noble and other sites too. They can be special ordered through any local bookstore if your local indie doesn't stock them. The ebooks are on iTunes, Nook, and Kobo as well.

In the meantime, since Amazon is still the largest bookselling outlet in the US, we're having no choice but to submit each of our nearly 600 titles individually via their platform. This is taking months and is an ongoing process. Missing titles will gradually reappear for sale.

Just to clarify: we're not suggesting Amazon has it out for us personally. We've noticed books from publishers large and small being affected.
