Ch 1-3 (view spoiler)[ i am really enjoying this so far. I think Holly is hilarious and I can really connect with her feeling like shes treated differently being a girl. Artemis seems a little eveil to me haha (hide spoiler)]

Ch 4-6 (view spoiler)[ im loving all the nature names the leps have! I also wonder what else Artemis has in store, can he really stop the time stop? There also seems to be a reason why his mother is mentioned so many times with her odd behavior. It has to be important in the grand scheme of things. Holly is trying to break the ground but if its limestone underneath, will that work for planting her acorn? (hide spoiler)]

Ch 7 & 8 (view spoiler)[ i am loving all the action. I cannot believe Mulch and those tummy troubles haha where did Artemis's mom go? Juliet said she went bye bye Holly got her powers back and even helped a human! (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ oh man he really did find a way around it. I really was surprised when they said he didnt use his wish on his mom because of feelings for her but due to social services. Thats sad and he really is fitting the bill for a sociopath. The love that Butler has for his sister is heartwarming (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-3 (view spoiler)[I'm not sure how I feel about this yet....I feel like I'm a little confused about what's going on, but it could be because I had to keep starting and stopping the entire beginning because people kept talking to me at work. I like Holly though. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 4-5 (view spoiler)[Okay, I was not expecting the countdown to go on with the package and then the explosion. Not really sure how I feel about this book yet. I’m not loving the narrator, and I think that’s what’s man me not enjoy it as much. (hide spoiler)]

Did not live upto my expectations.

Chapter 1-3: (view spoiler)[I have mixed feelings about this so far. IMO Artemis is too cocky for a 12 year old and I haven't warmed up to him yet but Holly seems like a likeable enough character. There are quite a few magical beings in this one which I certainly did not expect but I am enjoying that part of the story. Curious to see how Holly and Artemis's paths intersect (hide spoiler)]

Chapter4-5: (view spoiler)[I guess Artemis is more of a villain in the book because I absolutely hate that he has kidnapped Holly and is keeping her captive. I really hope that he doesn't hurt her. I liked how Root immediately stood up to come to Holly's aide despite him giving her a hard time in the force. I am not loving this book honestly but am curious enough to continue (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-7: (view spoiler)[I am wondering where Artemis's mom went when the time stop started and why is he not affected by the same. It's good that Artemis was brought down from the high horse he was sitting on through Root's ingenious plan. I liked the dwarf well enough and the description of the way he dug his way into the manor was quite entertaining. Holly is smart too for smuggling in the acorn. I am eager to see which side wins at the end (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[I was hoping that there was some sort of redemption for Artemis towards the end but the mention that he cured his mom not out of love but to escape social services was like a nail in the coffin that he is indeed an evil human. Holly helping the humans despite everything was so noble of her and she is the only character I ended up liking through it all. I am on the fence whether I want to continue with the series or not (hide spoiler)]
