Hello! Sorry I haven’t been very active lately. Thank you so much for responding! I recently found a great interest in learning ASL, but have yet to meet anyone deaf/hoh. Thank you for your offer! I’ve used as many ASL books and apps that I can get my hands on, but if there are any other resources you could recommend to me that would be amazing!

Hello, everyone!

Hello everyone! I apologize that it’s been so long since I’ve checked in, but school and life have been very busy. I am now talking an ASL class at my school taught by a completely Deaf Teacher! I have learned a lot from her, including proper hand position, communication skills, information on deaf culture, and over 150 signs! I’m so grateful to be learning so much, and receiving a true education in this language is amazing. I truly love the class! It is so immersive and very interactive, as no one is allowed to talk at all once inside the classroom. We all must use signs, dictionaries for translating, or write down what we want to say in order to communicate. I learn something new every day and I’m excited to become more fluent than I ever was before!
