I re-read it because I found my copy of it (buried under my pile of 500 books). It's so much different from I remember.

i read it when i was really young and loved it but when i ended up with the copy i didn’t like it as much but it honestly could’ve been worse

I agree, it's not nearly as bad as some books that I've read. It was so much better when I read it four years back for the first time.

not Penelope Douglas' best book but still quite good

it was my first book by her and I really enjoyed it

i liked the penpal aspect and the part where she was at his show (with him knowing and her not having a clue) but after that chapter it went downhill for me (nothing against the author's writing style but just not my kinda book which i thought it could possibly be). 3/5 stars is what i gave it

My first book by her i really liked it

I’ll attribute my dislike of it to the fact that I was 21 or 22 when I finally read it, and so was deeply uncomfortable reading sex scenes between high schoolers.
