Looking for some good suggestions on series set in the 1700 to early 1930's that are set in England - I'm on a kick right now with Veronica Speedwell, Cleopatra Fox, Ms. Sherlock Holmes, and even the Glass & Steele and spin off series.

My favorites! I've read all of the books in the Royal Spyness series and can highly recommend them! I recently started the Daisy Dalrymple series and love it too--great character development. I'm also a fan of Wexford & Sloane series, and Sherry Thomas's Sherlock Holmes series. Great suggestions!
A while ago, I read 'A Morbid Taste for Bones', from the Cadfael Chronicles. It was recommended to me, but to be honest I was a little sceptical as it was set in 1137, and I tend to lean towards a more contemporary context. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely pick up some of the later books in the series at some point. I know that the time period is earlier than you might have been looking for, but I thought I'd offer it up just in case. :)

For the Victorian period, I enjoy the Death Below Stairs series by Jennifer Ashley (though I feel like the cook does too much sleuthing and not enough cooking). A bit darker are the Barker and Llewelyn series by Will Thomas.
I also enjoy the 1920s High Society Lady Detective Mystery by Sara Rosett. The first one is Murder at Archly Manor.
