hi! so i had this idea: what are 13 or more songs you would recommend to someone who's never listened to taylor or thinks of her as a shallow pop star?

here's mine (in no order):
1 - haunted (my favorite song of all time, reason is to show that she's not only pop)
2 - better than revenge (same as above, also to showcase her p e t t y side)
3 - champagne problems (the lyricism, the melancholic vibe, what a shame she's fucked in the head )
4 - death by a thousand cuts (everybody needs to hear that bridge)
5 - ...ready for it? (her emo era)
6 - you're on your own, kid (she has struggles too!! and a heart!!)
7 - forever winter (she doesn't only write about love and breakups)
8 - tied together with a smile (same reason as above, plus she has some important messages in her songs)
9 - the outside (relatability at its finest)
10 - nothing new (phoebe bridgers isn't someone you'd automatically pair with taylor, and the song's message is so relatable)
11 - snow on the beach (feat. more lana del rey) (same reason as above with the pairing)
12 - i know places (those vocals girl)
13 - no body, no crime (feat. haim) (her storytelling skills aaaahhh)
14 - i bet you think about me (she's unhinged and i'm living for it)
15 - the archer (the message and relatability)
16 - mirrorball (same as above, plus social pressures)
17 - this is me trying (she's a human being too!!)
18 - i did something bad (her understanding of the media's harmful portrayal of her)
19 - stay beautiful (just...the wholesomeness)
20 - dear reader (the insight, the messages, the care)

yeah i have more but that's all i can think of right now.

I would want to have a bunch of different genres because idk what they like.

1. The Moment I Knew (storytelling)
2. The Lakes (again storytelling and it's not about love)
3. The Way I Loved You (just a great song)
4. New Romantics (fun happy song)
5. Forever And Always (sad breakup)
6. Wonderland (I just love this song so much)
7. Enchanted (not a breakup song but still about love)
8. Champagne Problems (she does specialize in breakup songs so)
9. Hits Different (same as above)
10. Anti-Hero (relatable)
11. You Need To Calm Down (pride! also if they hate Taylor it's in the title)
12. Daylight (hopeful romance)
13. Afterglow (sad but hopeful)
