I'd like to read the Timothy Keller one with you :) I've read a good bit by him and definitely come away with a greater understanding of anything he writes about.

Buddy read threads created for both A Cross-Country Christmas and Hidden Christmas.

Maybe it has something to do with the aging process, but I'm on a mission to read some classics from the past and re-read many books that I loved 30 or more years ago. I doubt anyone is interested in my list, but if so, you're welcome to join in.



An Endless Christmas by Cynthia Ruchti is one of my very favorites.

Carole, you've got some really good ones there. (And those that weren't already on my TBR list that I haven't read will go on it!)
I'm planning on starting A Quilt for Christmas soon. Do you want to do a 'Buddy Read' for that? If so, just let me know when you'd like to start so Staci can set that up for us!

Crystal, I can do The Unfinished Gift any time, as I have it on my Kindle. I'm waiting for Prayers of a Stranger: A Christmas Journey, but it shouldn't be long.

Thank you for setting it up, Staci. I enjoy buddy reads, but there's not much I can participate in because I don't care for suspense. I'm more of a contemporary, women's fiction fan. Some historical also. So I look forward to these reads.

Carole - you have some good ones identified. I also am waiting for Prayers of a Stranger: A Christmas Journey and based on the discussion here, just requested An Endless Christmas.

The other two on your list that I might be able to join you with are - and . The earliest I could possibly get to these two is very late in the month as I focus on finishing up a bunch of this year's challenges.

I know there are already a lot of books thrown out there for Buddy Reads this month but I'm going to throw this one out there also! Starting today through December 14th if anyone would like to join! More of a heavier Christmas book from what I can tell but it looks good.

Carole and Crystal - are you still interested in reading Davis Bunn's Prayers of a Stranger: A Christmas Journey later this month? If so, how does starting around 23 Dec sound?

We could have Staci set up a thread for Dec 23rd through Jan 22nd.
