Cold weather and grey skies getting you down? Time to make like our feathered friends and fly off somewhere warmer! Since the Southern Hemisphere is currently in Summer, it seems like a perfect destination to stave off the winter blues.

Does a country have to be entirely in the southern hemisphere to count? For example, the equator goes through Brazil, so a piece of Brazil is in the northern hemisphere, while most of it is in the southern hemisphere. Thanks!

Nope, as long as the country's on the linked list of southern hemisphere countries, it works.

I read Come On Shore and We Will Kill and Eat You All: A New Zealand Story which takes place in both New Zealand and Australia. The task description says Country and this has 2 but they are both in the Southern hemisphere so does it work or not?

Yes, since they're both in the Southern Hemisphere that works fine.

What about a book set in Antarctica? It's not a country, but is in the southern hemisphere.
