I read
Title: Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk
Author: Kathleen Hanna

And yes I highly recommend it!! This was one of the best rock and roll memoirs I've read (I haven't read THAT many, less than ten, but enough). This was SIGNIFICANTLY better than previous memoirs from musicians in the genre: Kim Gordon (who had a serious axe to grind about her ex) and Carrie Brownstein (who really really wanted us to know how smart she is, and wasn't so interested in talking about Sleater-Kinney).

Author: Michelle Zauner
Would you recommend this book? Yes, I'd recommend, as I really liked the writing...but would mention that I found it to be a melancholy read, more for the tension in the author's relationships with her parents than with the death of her mother.

Author: Tina Turner
Would you recommend this book? Yes, I'd recommend it. I've enjoyed her music although I was never a mega-fan. After she passed away, I saw the biographic stage musical "Tina", which she talks about working on toward the end of this book, and found it very moving and inspiring. I knew what to expect as far as the abusive relationship she had with Ike Turner, but this goes further than the show and talks about her second, happier marriage and some of her health struggles, too. Hearing about these things directly from the artist herself was a plus.

Author: Patti Smith
Would you recommend this book? YES! I have read everything written by Patti Smith now. I would read her grocery shopping list. I keep a candle lit that she may live many more years with much productive time for her writing.
