Sonya handled it professionally. She didn't throw Brandon under the bus. She was just going to do her job and live and let live. Brandon was a jerk and the bosses should have done more to protect Sonya is they weren't going to fire Brandon. I think Sonya should have at least filed a police report and accused Brandon, made his life miserable for a while.
Sonya didn't want to embarrass Brandon. She tried to move on like an adult. Brandon was the childish, spoiled baby. He worked hard to make Sonya appear to be the bad guy, so to speak. Unfortunately, his childishness didn't fool anyone. The bosses were in a tough place because it was a small company. They needed all their employees because they didn't have a redundant staff.
I didn't get the sense that Sonya wanted any action taken against Brandon. She wanted to be gone. Resigning was the best decision she made.
