Hi Qamar! Nice to meet you! Sure, that would be a great idea. Is it fine if I make you a mod and you can add that?
My name is Dana. I'm agnostic. I am currently reading Angela Davis' Autobiography - her book Freedom is a Constant Struggle (which touches on Palestine) is what led me to this book. I have a stack of other books I plan to start once I finish this that are specifically about Palestine. Something interesting about me is that I occasionally write poetry and often crochet - I have been doing both for about 30 years now, but reading was my first hobby/passion before those.
I am Abdellatif Raji, the author of Heaven Is Under the Feet of Governments, a book that delves into the profound impact of governance on societal well-being and the potential of spiritual values to enhance secular governance. My work advocates for the Maqasid model, emphasizing the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property, aiming to guide policymakers towards more ethical and holistic governance practices.I am dedicated to blending deep spiritual insights with practical governance solutions, challenging the traditional separation between spirituality and state policy. My interests include ethical governance, environmental sustainability, and the eradication of social inequality, focusing on how leadership and policy-making can enhance the collective good.
Throughout my career, I have been a proponent of integrating moral and spiritual principles into public policy to address modern societal challenges. My writings inspire readers to consider governance not merely as a mechanism of administration but as a transformative force capable of fostering global justice, compassion, and well-being.

I'm Safiyya, better known as mafiyya. I am a Muslimah who's trying to find my dream abaya. My current read as of right now is Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? and I'm allergic to cats but love them anyways.
Hello, new member here. You can call me Icha. I'm a muslim from Indonesia. My most recent read is Bumi from Tere Liye. I have too many hobbies to ever be bored.
Name: Kate (Megan is my first name and mostly just family calls me that) Religion; I don’t practice one in particular, but I am accepting of all, so long as they’re tolerant of others and aren’t weaponized. Because of who of I’ve dated and my best friends, I probably know the most about Jehovah’s Witnesses, Islam, Scientology and Catholicism (I know, quite the mix! 😆)
Currently reading: Ukraine: The Forging of a Nation, Challenger by Adam Higginbottham. Most recent books I’ve read on Palestine are Ilan Pappe’s The Pro-Israel Lobby on Both Sides of the Atlantic (that name is slightly off I know!) along with The Palestine Laboratory by Antony Loewenstein, then Norman Finkelstein’s 2017-2018 book on Gaza.
Interesting fact: I can speak three languages on at least a proficient level (not including my native tongue): Swedish, Czech and French
Hi my name is Guillaume Dohmen, I lived in the Netherlands when that country was occupied by Germany during World War land got to know some people who fought the occupier. They people who fought the occupier were considered heros. I look on Palestinians who fight for freedom in the same way as I did in the time of WW ll on our local fighters. It did not mean that we hated all Germans but only the actual occupiers and their supporters be it German or Dutch.
My name is FranciaI consider myself a Buddhist
I’m currently reading
- remarkably bright creatures
- three cups of tea
- the diamond sutra with commentary by mu seong
And
- the Bhagavad Gita (via a weekly class)
Haha a book for every mood 😆
Support the plight of our Palestinian brothers and sisters and pray for a peaceful resolution to end the madness.
