Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) was founded in 1999 by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith as a vigil to honor Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was murdered in 1998.

Would you recommend this book? Yes, if you like magical realism mixed with folklore. I liked it - definitely a solid 4-Star read. I found it trippy and yet so emotionally vulnerable. If you haven't spent your lifetime working in clinical psych, you will probably enjoy it more.
