Lilly waved to the people she's known all of her life.

Nathan ran around the lake, practicing for the track meet.

Karly sighed in boredom.

Lilly saw Karly and smiled. "Hey!" she greeted her.

"Hey!" Karly said, her face lighting up a bit.

"Summer is so boring. We need more torist boys." She grinned devishly.

Christy walked in the forest reading a book.

"I agree," Karly said with a giggle "HOT tourist boys."

Lilly laughed. "Definitely."

Karly sighed "Too bad there are no tourists in this town."

She sighed too. "I know. It's barely even on the map." She kicked at a pebble.

Christy didn't worry about running into a tree because she could see over the book.

Karly sighed "I know, I hate it here."

"I doubt I"ll ever leave though. I'll probably marry one of the boys here that I've known my whole life."

"Ugh, none of the guys even talk to me," she said "Well except my brother of course."

Lilly laughed. "Why not?"

"Because I'm not you," she said with a grin.

Lilly laughed again. "And that's supposed to mean?"

"Your so pretty," she said "All the guys like you."

Lilly shook her head. "Geez Karly. You're gorgeous."

Karly laughed "Yeah right."

Lilly gave her a disbelieving look. "Yes you are!"

Christy found a nice shady spot and sat down reading withe the lake in view.

"You don't have to lie to me you know," Karly said.

Lilly sighed. "You don't see yourself clearly. It's frustrasting."

Karly rolled her eyes "Yeah what ever."

Lilly wanted to shake her, but controlled herself. "Let's go do something." she said instead.

"Ok," Karly said getting up. She saw Nathan running around "Ugh, he's still training."

Lilly smiled and ran just ahead of Nathan. "Come on! You can do better than that!" She yelled at him, just being silly.

Nathan laughed and as he did he tripped and skinned his knees "Look what you made me do," he joked. Karly laughed and ran over to them.

Lilly sat on the ground next to him, laughing. "It's not my fault you have horrible coordination." she teased.

Nathan gaped, he got up and tackled her "Take it back!" he said laughing and pinning her to the ground.

She giggled and tried to wiggle out from under him. "Never."

Christy didn't see any of them because she was at a really good part in the book.

He started tickling her "Take it back, take it back!"

Karly laughed at them.

Lilly was laughing so hard she could barely speak. "Fine! Fine, I take it back!" she said, breahtless.

"Good," he said and he stopped tickling her. He got off her.

She stayed on the ground, breathing heavily. She smiled up at Nathan and Karly.

Karly couldn't stop laughing "You guys are such dorks!"

Nathan stuck his tongue out at her.

Lilly laughed. "That was evil." she told Nathan.

Nathan grinned "Being evil is one of my best qualities."

She smiled. "Yeah, so I've learned. Ticke-torturer."

Nathan looked at the time "Karly we have to get home for dinner," he said.

Karly looked at Lilly, "Come on, you can come too."

Lilly stood up, happy not to have to go home.

Karly and Nathan looked at each other then took off running toward their house with Lilly.

Christy set down her book because she finished it and looked at the lake.

Lilly ran after them.

Karly beat them both and she walked inside.

Lilly, smiling, walked into their house. "Hey Mrs."
