It's time for February's nominations. Guess what! It is a special theme month. Once again, we will honor Black History month by accepting nominations for any published work that is written by a person of color or one who is currently considered a minority. This would include African-Americans, Aborigines and Indigenous Peoples from any part of the world. The work can be fiction, non-fiction, essays, poetry, and drama and I will consider any work that is at least 40 years old.

You can nominate up to two works that are written by a woman and published before 1984. Please state whether or not you can lead the discussion.

Nominations will end the 15th. Please select works that have not been read by this group in the past 3 years. Here is the bookshelf link: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books....

Thanks!

If you can do it that one too, you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, I will just set up the threads and let everyone discuss the book.

message 30: by Nidhi (new)

Nidhi Kumari | 126 comments It's good both ways, but I think I will begin right away, so I will have something to say when the reading starts. After all it's our first read of year. Thank you Emily.
