One of my fan theories about New Who has been that the Sontarions won, as there's never been an appearance or even mention of the Rutans.

And Dan Starkey is involved. So … YAY! 😸

How many Doctors show up in the stories?
Always thought BF should do a story where the 1st Doctor meets the Sontarans.

Third (Tim Treloar), Sixth (Colin Baker), Eighth (Paul McGann) & the Warrior (War Doctor, Jonathan Carley). I’m not sure which is in which chapter, but it appears that McGann is in the January release, episode 1: .

Listened to the trailers for the first one:( love the idea of roman centurions vs sontarans) and I think the one with the war Doctor.
