Hello Book Worms!!! This is the first Discussion Board and to make it a bit interesting I will allow you guys, if you want to, answer a few questions so all group members can know a little about you guys:

** Why did you decide to join this club?
** And last a random fact about yourself that you would like to share (you don't have to if you don't want to)?

Hello Everyone!!! This Amani!!!! I am a Huge Book Worm and whenever I have Free time I use most of it to catch up with my Reading. One of My favorite books of all time would have to be The Lunar Chronicles (I cheated thats multiple books lol). I started my love for reading in the Fifth grade when I picked up the first Diary of Wimpy Kid book. But I started YA in Sophomore year in high school. I am the moderator and I decided to make this club mainly for YA readers to get together and discuss books. One random fact about me is that I love the show Once Upon a Time, if that even counts.

Hi! I'm Annaliese, or some people know me as openyourpagesandfly from tumblr :)
I have MULTIPLE favourite books, but if I had to choose one it would be The Infernal Devices...or The Lunar Chronicles...dammit I can't decide! I'll just go with The Lunar Chronicles! But, then...what about Will Herondale? Ahh! This questions is too hard!!!
I started to love reading when I was 15, which was only 3 years ago, when my sister gave me a Jodi Picoult book. Not long after that, a friend lent me Clockwork Angel and that's when I gradually fell in love with reading. It was really weird for me to say that I loved reading because for my whole life up 'til that point, I had HATED reading!! It did take me a while to really get into books because it was so different for me, but now I can't stop reading and it makes me cringe thinking about me hating it!
I decided to join this group because it looks like a lot of fun! And I've always wanted to join a group, but I've never known what to join or even what to do... :/ this one seems like it has things that I would be able to really join in with, unlike others when I know I would feel like the new clueless kid who no body pays attention too... (Also, thank you Amani for inviting me to join (: )
A random fact about me would be I was born in England (and still have a British accent even though it's been 8 years), I've lived in New Zealand, and now I live in Australia! I also have a sister in all three of those countries. It's like every time we move, we leave someone behind. It's weird! Haha

i don’t really have a favourite book, but favourite series, such as Percy Jackson, heroes of Olympus, mortal instruments the darkest minds, harry potter and the fault in pour starts, Eleanor and park, and many, many, many more.
my love for reading started a few years ago, what got me into it was the darkest minds series by Alexandra bracken, i loved the story line, and the characters... but not ruby.... bleh... i hated her.
i joined this club because... well... why not... seems like fun and why wouldn’t i xD
and some random facts about me, im an Aussie.

lived here my whole life, I’m addicted to reading, I’m currently writing a book, its quite hard because i have school commitments as i am only 15, i love to draw and paint. i don’t think im that good though, people often disagree with me XD

Hi! I'm Bridget, I live in Australia and I'm fifteen. My love for reading probably started when I was about 7 and read Harry Potter for the first time, but my love for YA developed in 2012 when I first read The Hunger Games. I'd say my favourite book of all time, as of right now, would have to be either Unwind by Neal Shusterman or Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. Can't wait to join in with group discussions! This sounds like it's going to be fun :)

Hello I'm Haily, I'm 18 years old and I've always read here and there but I started reading YA in 2012 when I read the Mortal Instruments. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite book because there are way too many. Fun fact is that I was bit by a duck when I was 2 at sea world.

I can't choose a favorite book it's so hard but I really loved the Throne of Glass Series! (Even though its not finished yet).
I started reading when I was young (around 10) with Harry potter! I developed my love for YA last year when I read The Hunger Games and The Divergent series!
I decided to join this club because I think it'll be fun and I like to read about people's opinion!
A fact about me is that I'm french! (I only read in English though ;))

Hello Justine, Thank you for joining, I started my love for YA with those two trilogies as well. Thats cool that your French, I took French for my language in school, it was pretty interesting. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, my name is Alexandria and I live in Canada. I can't choose just one favourite book, but some of my favourite series are The Hunger Games, Divergent, and Throne of Glass. I've loved reading since I was little, however I only started to get more into YA books about 3 years ago. I decided to join this club because I was invited by the mod, Amani (thanks btw). Hi! I am Kim from Colorado. I love reading and my live got started in the second grade. I became a reader of ya around 2008. My favorite YA book of all time has got to be Gone by Michael Grant. This group came up when I was searching since I am new this month to Goodreads and this group is new it isn't so overwhelming. I guess one random fact about me is i have worked in the bowling industry for 13 years and I still don't know how to bowl.

Hi! My name is Kim and my favourite book of all time will probably be Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
I have always been a reader ever since I was little and I do not remember when I really got into YA. I guess it just happened. The reason why I wanted to join this group is because I love YA books and I joined any group that invites me to join or groups that I personally want to join. I think Amani or Alexandria invited me to this group and I am glad that I did. I love book discussions, reader games and interacting with other people.
One random fact about me is that I love Full House. I love that show and if I ever have time I will probably watch it everyday.

Hello! I'm Kyla, and I don't just have a favorite book but here are the ones I absolutely love! Heir of Fire, Ignite me Clockwork Princess, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, and City of Glass. My love for reading came from The Sister's Grimm series which I read when I was nine years old. After that reading became a huge part of my life. I started getting into YA when I was eleven, so about three years ago. I decided to join this group because Amani invited me and I wanted in on the fun! Random fact: I love being organized so that basically means I love cleaning my room:)

Hello Kyla, Thank you for joining!!!! I love the Throne of Glass series as well as Shatter Me. To make you feel better I love cleaning my room too. I am such a clean freak its not even funny, lol actually it is, but yeah I enjoy cleaning my room and making it as girly or cute as possible. I always reorganize my books all the time because I always buy more books. Yeah I can relate lol. Thank you for sharing and I hope you enjoy this group!!!!!

I also love YA a lot too, I think I will love this category for a long time because there are so many great books out there I can't resist. I also love doing book reviews. Some of my favorite books/Series, if you haven't read already are Shatter Me, The Lunar Chronicles, Legend Trilogy, The Winners Curse, Tiger Lily, Throne Of Glass, Graceling, The Selection series, The Young Elites, and thats just some that I loved, I hope you find this helpful. :).
