Do you comingle your TBR and read books? Are you a fan of rainbow organizing? Do you do it by author?

I have to be honest, I have just a jumble and am definitely in need of a restack!

My bookshelves are in alphabetical order, but I think I might change the ordering to largest to smallest

The entire bookshelf is organized by type (mysteries, historical fiction, fantasy, and animal kingdom books). Then on the top of the bookshelf goes one of my favorite book series(it’s really long so it takes up the entire top part) and then on floating shelves above my main bookshelf is where I put my favorite book series (Selection series on one, Hunger Games on another, etc). Then I put matching decorations wherever they fit. :)

i organize it according to their genre

My bookshelf is kinda unique so whatever can fit i can have them sit upright but if it doesn’t, i have to lay them down. Kinda unfortunate cause I got back into reading and I have to pick and choose what I want to put on the shelf cause I know I’ll run out of room.

sadly not organised enough :/. I try to put series next to each other and same size books next to each other if they are standalones but doesn't always work out because of the space

My book shelf is not organized, but it is on my to do list.

I have a very small bookshelf so I just organize them so they fit neatly. Not in any order or anything.

I organize it but color

I have mine organized by format (hardcover, paperback, etc.) and by author's first name within each format. Not sure why I prefer to go by first name over last name, but I just like it more. Lol

I order them from horror n thriller and from romance and series

well, I just put the book into it without any organisation. I'm such a lazy person to be honest. But if I had more space I would organise them according to genres
