There is the prison healer i am now reading it and it is really nice, there is not much romance but I think the second book has more. And "to crave a fae heart." I haven't read it, but it sounds pretty interesting.

You read the first series, then the second, and after you finish the second, you read "Percy Jackson and The Chalice of the Gods"
Technically this is part of the first series but it only happens after the heroes of Olympus, this book came out last September and next September another book comes out

hmm for starters maybe something like caraval (i didn‘t read it myself but i heard many good things about it), once upon a broken heart, the cruel prince, the land of stories (ik this is for middle-schoolers but its great😭) and hmm maybe acotar but idk if you like spice

I think the cruel prince is a must-read for someone who reads fantasy, I loved it!!

yeah, red queen wasn't the best (especially the books after the 1st one) but overall it was pretty good

omg anne, yes i wanna read the caraval and once upon a broken heart series so bad!! im hoping to go get them, and im planning on ordering once upon a broken heart trio rly soon. i was also looking into acotar, it look rly good, ill have to see if i can get it soon 🤭

@shira yea, red queen was pretty good, i think the first book was amazing, but after that it got kinda eh to me

i read frost blood for a book club a year ago, and it traumatized me from fantasy like that, i havent read one since, it was so bad 😭

oh, and there is shatter me series, aging its not my favorite, but a lot of people loveeee it, so maybe it's worth a try

@shira, yes ive been recommended shatter me sm times, its actually crazy, but i feel like it wont be a favorite of mine, either

i read the first three books from shatter me and it was pretty good but then i lost interest in it because the storyline got boring for me

i would say yes but i think it depends on the person because shatter me is more fiction and dystopian and not really like fantasy

@a n n e I also think it's because a lot of people read the series and think the romance is a main plot point when it really isn't

yess i agree when i started reading it i thought it would be romance with a dystopian side plot because everybody on tiktok was only talking about the romance
