Coraline not so much, but I was determined to read it because it was by Neil Gaiman, and I like so much of his work.

Have you watched the animation of Coraline? I feel that's so much more fun than the book. If you've seen the animation, I think that you'd find the book a bit underwhelming.
And yay on loving SpyxFamily! I think I'm up to volume 6 or 7. I still loved book 1 best - they should feature that headmaster more often.

I've avoided watching that animation, just as I've avoided watching the tv-version of Sandman. I'm able close out horror-y visions when I'm reading easier than when I'm seeing them.
