just finished divine rivals...oh my god RV couldn't come fast enough!!!!

3.5⭐️While I admire the writers prose and the intention, I just couldn’t find myself excited enough to read this. It was a struggle to stay connected with the characters in this book. There were parts that were good but it just felt like very drawn out prose for simple scenes and it made me tired reading it. Maybe it was the 3rd person narrative? I’m not sure.

I realize I’m in the very small minority here, but most of this book just came off as boring to me. I had to skim the last 30% of the book to finish.

4⭐️ - I really enjoyed ruthless vows, I didn't think I would as much as I did because I found the first one to be smaller and faster than I expected but I ended up getting really sucked into it!
