I would recommend it! I would like to mention that there is 1 makeout scene and 2 smutty scenes as well. Along with language, they're also a lot of violence and gore. I thought it was really good! I don't know your age, so with this information, I feel like you should be able to ell if you're able to read it. Hope this helps! :)

It is good, if you're reading it in disassociation with the fact that Rebecca is 30+ and the writing style is as if it was written by a gen-z. Overall the plot is nice and so is the world building (all tho there could be more to expect). ALSO please keep in mind to read both Fourth Wing and Iron Flame from a pdf file or an epub.
Maybe this helps. If you are 16, there is nothing in this book you don’t hear about at school daily. And the amount of spice is honestly negligible for any sort of romance.
Fourth Wing was enjoyable, and I can see where the story would appeal to a 16-year-old reader. However, there are strong language, death, and graphic sex scenes. This book is, after all, marketed as Adult Epic Fantasy, not YA. So, I would be sure to keep this in mind if you choose to read it. My review on Fourth Wing is available here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Fourth Wing is fantastic and I know Iron Flame was controversial but personally, I loved it; in terms of age, I know 12 year olds who read this and had no problem, it really does depend on your maturity level. There are about 2 or 3 (I forgot) explicit scenes in Fourth Wing but if you can’t handle that you can definitely skip over it
I just finished this book earlier this month and I absolutely loved it! I also read Iron Flame and while I didn't think it was quite as good as the first one, I still thought it was great!
I definitely recommend the book for sure. I randomly came across it on Libby. It's definitely a YA book so 16+ would be the probable age range.I love dragons, so I will grab onto anything dragon related lol. I enjoy the banter and the small comedy in it.
I opened this book on two random pages in a book store and both random scenes were sex scenes so not sure. I don't like books heavy on smut but if you're into that then go for it

There are only a few sex scenes in this book and they are all within two chapters, so it is definitely not falling into the smut category. If you like ya fantasy, it is a good read, and actually not all that smutty. Now I will say, the sex scenes, when they finally happen, do last multiple pages, but if that's not your jam, you just skip a few pages in two chapters.

I LOVED Fourth Wing - would defo recommend. It kind of gives me divergent vibes - super fast paced and enjoyable.
IT WAS AMAZING and it was my first detailed spice book it was so good, seriously spice lovers you want a gpod detailed spice scene then go for it IT'S AMAZING
and other than my fav spice stuff
the dragons and everything is so cool and good, And funny at times :)
it's worth reading
It’s marketed to adults but all the characters are juvenile. I feel like it’s true target audience are young adults. There are only two sex scenes in the book so I don’t consider it smut. If you like action and fantasy, you’ll definitely enjoy it.
