S-a spus adeseori că literatura creştină siriacă are mai mult un caracter mimetic, întrucât s-a născut din traduceri de texte bizantine greceşti şi din imitarea acestora. Fără îndoială, există aici un sâmbure de adevăr. Cu toate acestea, literatura creştină siriacă nu poate fi redusă doar la mimetism. Ea are propria ei identitate, adeseori fascinantă şi uluitoare prin bogăţia simbolică, prin subtilitatea interpretărilor şi a nuanţelor doctrinare al căror corolar rămâne sensibilitatea unei spiritualităţi mistice de frumuseţe unică.

But, why not put together with English editions ??

I had used one of the English editions to create it. The majority of the ones you listed above were not combined. In fact they had the Gregory Bar-Hebraeus' name incorrect in over half. I had fixed the author's names on them so that they may be combined later. I also marked some as invalid. Almost all of these books are from print on demand services. Those are only allowed if they have an ISBN.

I just combined the ones that I could easily identify. Yours is now one of 15 editions. I saw books in other languages. Because of how much needs to be done on Gregory Bar-Hebraeus' page those will have to wait. I am more concerned with creating the books that have been waiting. I only do requests that have been waiting for at least 6 months.

I saw that you had quite a few waiting. I saw where you had EVERYTHING complete for us. It makes me sad when I see requests like yours pushed down. It says that this page has been viewed 135 times! I know part of it is people being leery of doing other languages. I figure that is what a translating app is for.
