I don’t care to be honest. If a book is so tight and uncomfortable to read I‘ll break the spine.

spine cracking is a big yikes for me

Well, I don't usually do it intentionally, but if the book is very stiff and cracks unintentionally, I don't mind.
I've never intentionally cracked the spine of a book to be honest 🤭.
But in general I don't mind.

Cracking the book spine makes it uglier and I hate that but I still don't care lol

New books a big hard against. But old ones just feel right with a cracked spine.
