Autumn (autumnmemory80) Once you and your Book Pal have selected and read your book, post what you thought of the book on this thread. Partners are listed in this thread below. Can't wait to hear about your book choices!

You can go to the original thread Book Pals and click on your partner to see their books and friend them.

** Just a Tip - I like to give my partner at least three books to choose from with one being my top choice. That way they have some freedom as well.

★ ★ IF you have made an attempt to contact your partner with no response, please private message me letting me know so I can work on getting you a new partner for the month. Please give it at least 7 days before posting a comment as not all of our members log in every day. THANK YOU!

I think the best thing is make sure your BOOK PAl is a friend, and you do not have your profile as private.

Then you can fully see their profile and books.

Allison (allison105) | 8 comments Thanks Lisa and Autumn, I will definitely check it out x

message 45: by Freda (new)

Freda Malone | 416 comments I've finished my book for April book pal. Susan chose Unwanted by Kristina Ohlsson for me to read. It was a very good criminal procedural mystery and I really enjoyed reading all through the book, but the ending sure let me down. I wasn't expecting it to turn out the way it did. I almost felt like I worked my butt off to read the clues, choose suspects, connect the links...and then...*splat*...who?? what?? It was still a good book so I gave it 3 stars.

message 46: by Autumn (new)

Autumn (autumnmemory80) I read Birdman by Mo Hayder with Anne. While many people find this book a little over the edge and creepy, I was slightly disappointed. I feel that it did not reach my sick, twisted, ick factor for me. I feel that the book was too long and could have been weeded out some. I will still give Mo Hayder another go, but I only give this book 3 stars.

message 47: by Cameron (new)

Cameron Wiggins | 365 comments Uhh ... downgrading him because he wasn't quite sick enough for your taste. I'll have to wait a little while to digest that one. ; 0

message 48: by Anne (Booklady) (new)

Anne (Booklady) Molinarolo (wwwgoodreadscomAnneMolinarolo) | 181 comments I'll add my 2 cents to the discussion of Birdman by Mo Hayder that I read with Autumn. I actually loved it! It had the creepiness factor that I really like. I rated it 4.5 Stars.

My Review

I'll definitely will read the 2nd installment in the Jack Caffery series! What am I talking about - I'll be reading the WHOLE series before year's end. =)

Cameron,

Yes the subject matter was creepy, but "Birdman" wasn't as creepy bad as I wanted him to be - I have to agree with Autumn on this.

After reading authors like Karin Slaughter and Val McDermid, you expect a lot more twisted.
