On The Same Page discussion

Many of us like the idea of a group read but can't fit it in in a given month. We're going to try something different: we'll still have a group read, but we'll do it quarterly. Same concept as the nonfiction quarterly read, which gets more traction than the monthly group reads, but it will be for fiction books.

Nominations threads will be posted here every quarter and a poll will go up just as with the NFs.

Are we going to have Q2 2024 Nominations for the group read?

Yes, sorry. My brother-in-law is terminally ill and I've been dealing with family stuff last two weeks or so, and will be for the next few weeks as well. Ugh! I'll put the thread up.

This is getting very little traction and, worse, I keep forgetting to do it. I'm going to close this down so I can keep our other, more popular group activities going.

The NF read, the moderator recommends, the genre focus, and the commit to one book monthly are all getting more attention than this has. :)
