Read Women discussion

I reached my goal for 2024 to read 75% of my books by women authors My total was 77%. I wanted to read women of different cultures and ethnicities, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as women in translation. I ended up reading books from 21 different countries. Last year, I did a #20BooksByIndigenousWomen challenge.

This year, I have similar goals. I am actually setting my goal at 70% women authors. I want to again read from different cultures and ethnicities. I am doing #20BooksByLatinaAuthors challenge. I am planning on reading at least one Elif Shafak book.

Well, what happened is that I had a bunch of books on Audible that were in the "included" catalog that were going to disappear. So I listened non-stop for a couple of weeks. I was also pretty sick for almost a week which sucked but it also gave me more time to read! So, yea - April was an unusual month! :)
