2024 is the year of the Dragon. I just learned that not only does the year of the Dragon cycle around every so many years, but the type of dragon does also, there are 5 types, and each type has set traits.

2024 is the year of the WOOD DRAGON.

Wood represents vitality and creativity, while the dragon is related to success, intelligence and honor in Chinese culture. People born in the Year of the Wood Dragon are full of energy and drive. They dream of changing the world and are good at coming up with innovative ideas and implementing them. They are perfectionists and will not give up on their goals easily.

For this challenge, please read Non-fiction books about people, inventions, or events that fit this description. People who created new things that changed the world, whether for the positive or not. Or the book could focus on the invention or idea not the person.

I read DK Biography: Marie Curie: A Photographic Story of a Life because I feel she qualifies as a dragon.
