A naked body is found in a bath tub wearing only a pair of pince-nez, but the body is that of a stranger. At first glance the dead man resembles the man that lives there. Lord Peter Wimsey, an amateur detective, then proceeds to solve the mystery of the dead man.

Even though this is a short book it just wasn't my thing and seemed to take forever to read. This was the first book by Sayers introducing Lord Peter. I thought the characters were kind of flat and the mystery predictable. This one just wasn't for me.
