Attn Kidlit Readers & Authors

I need your help. I am currently seeking suggestions for your favorite kid's books for Martin Luther King Day and for the Lunar New Year. I am also looking for books about winter or snow. Authors, if you have a book that fits, feel free to DM.

I try to read several picture books and maybe a few longer kidlit books for each Holiday. I make a Goodreads shelf for that holiday and several posts on my StoryBook Lady social media about the best reads.

Hi Julie,

I have authored two children's books that do not directly deal with any specific holiday, but they are representative of family love and commitment to an adopted puppy. The first chapter book explores his puppy stage, and the follow-up book explores adventures with his golden retriever cousin during his adolescence. These books are entitled as follows:

Colby: Adventures of a Rescued Puppy
Colby: Adventures With Cousin Buddy
