Okay cool. What dates work for you?
I'd say a week or two because I have to order the book. Does that sound ok?

Okay everyone, I suppose we can start this buddy read come Wednesday if that's okay with you.I'll pull out my copy.
Yikes, I did not realize how long Lonesome Dove was!I know we're all going to have our different set schedules on how or when we read it, but I figure if I read 7 chapters a week then I'll get done by the second to last week of April. That's a long time, but it's the best I can do. Especially since I don't know how life will turn out and if I have other things to read.
So with that, here is my personal schedule with the dates and chapters.
1/24-30: 1-7
1/31-2/6: 8-14
2/7-13: 15-21
2/14-20: 22-29
2/21-27: 30-37
2/28-3/5: 38-45
3/6-12: 46-53
3/13-19: 54-61
3/20-26: 62-69
3/27-4/2: 70-77
4/3-9: 78-85
4/10-16: 86-93
4/17-23: 94-102
Okay so I'm behind a few days on it, I figured that schedule would be an estimate at the very least.I'm planning to start tomorrow in February.
Did you all end up discussing this book? I read it earlier this year and wanted to mention for anyone who might come along who hasn't read it yet - do NOT read the author's note or foreword if you don't like spoilers! I didn't read it because I'm suspicious about things like that (and I really, really dislike spoilers!) but after I finished the book I went back and did read it then. And wouldn't you know, I then discovered that there are other books with some of the same characters, and the darn author spoiled A DIFFERENT BOOK in the foreword! Argh.
We have yet to set a date for this read, but once we can get one going I'll edit this.
In the meantime feel free to let me know what date(s) work for you. My schedule is pretty nonexistent so I'm open to any time.
