Karly | 8 comments I have another recommendation, it’s technically young adult and not spicy but was still a very compelling series (plot and cool format). The series is “The Illuminae Files”. I think it comes in audiobook but due to its format would definitely recommend reading rather than listening.

Karly | 8 comments I just read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and it was an emotional roller coaster. It was not at all what I expected but I greatly enjoyed it. Check it out!

Karly | 8 comments I kept putting off reading Yellowface as it is very different from the genres I usually stick to. Now I wish I would have read it sooner! Full of satire, little bit of a thriller, and a frank look at racism that can even be found in well meaning white liberals (it had me cringing at times). I could not put it down. Would definitely recommend putting at the top of your TBR.
