Allison and Liam attend a party where she learns companies are interested in the security program Brett Keaton claims to have developed. When she confronts him, he denies stealing her program. After leaving, Liam asks her why she’s not more upset. What does she tell him? Why is she so sure Brett will fail at selling her program?

Allison hadn't yet completed the program. It may have looked complete, but she had yet to insert a vital piece of code. She knew it wouldn't really work although it would appear to do the job.

Exactly, Anita. The program won't run correctly because Allison left out some of the coding. She knew the program that Brett stole from her would not work correctly.
