Question of the week: What's your rating of this book and why?

The climax of this book was really amazing and insane! I loved it! Overall I'm super happy about the book and I'm really glad I finally read it.

One part I thought was pretty hilarious is how Calla, Persephone, and Maura don't even know what happened to Neeve. They were so casual about it like "I mean she'll probs come back...we think.." haha. Did you expect Whelk to die? I didn't think he would if I'm being honest.

I see Adam changing in some huge ways. I feel sorry for him but I don't like this new person he's becoming who didn't feel very bad about Whelk's death. I don't know, I just sense that he'll be very different later.

I loved that scene where Gansey was upset over the fight with Adam and Blue started talking to him. I think the moment with her leaning over him was our first real glimpse at the chemistry those two could have. I didn't even notice that they felt certain ways about it until Gansey scurried away and glanced at Adam. I feel like if he didn't have any feelings about her he wouldn't have been worried that Adam would misread it.

I was SO scared Noah would disappear at the end of the book so I was so relieved when they took him to the church and he went back to himself from before they found the body.

I gave it a 5/5 because I was interested the whole time and loved the writing and I now u just have to wait till September

5/5 because this book was really fun to read. I love the characters (except Whelk and Neeve, who were too fishy), especially Blue and Noah. I'm glad they could save him (I thought the part where he asked Blue to tell his mom he was sorry he drank her birthday schnapps(?) was pretty funny). I see that Adam is changing and I don't like it :o

I'm excited to read both the next book in the series and April's book for the club.
