I hope you’ll consider reviewing my latest novel, and winner of the Literary Titan Golden Book Award, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words [282 pages] published by Wild Wolf Publishing on September 1, 2023), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.
Some excerpts from editorial reviews:
“C W Lovatt's storytelling is masterful…” ~ Readers’ Favorite
“Lovatt's novel is a literary gem …” ~ A Look Inside
“A genuinely thought-provoking novel, it beckons readers to reflect on the intricate dance of life, growth, and self-discovery.” ~ Literary Titan
The following is the blurb:
“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.
A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.
Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.
But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

Hi
My book is quite personal as it describes how I refuse to let Alzheimer's seize my wife. Detailed are the extraordinary lengths one man will go through in my desperate effort to keep my wife with Alzheimer´s “connected” and interactive even though she is unable to speak.
Hopefully, this book a short read, “62 Tips For Caregivers Of Alzheimer´s To Delay Shutdown” can be a guide and of great help to those caregivers on this very lonely journey.

Hi Emmie!I'd love to get a copy of my middle grade science fantasy mystery to you - it's called The Ten Riddles of Earatha Quicksmith.
At the moment I've got free codes for audiobooks if that's of interest?
Best

Hi Emmie,I’m a book reviewer just like you, but I would like to forward a review opportunity from my author friend, Loris Owen. You can contact her at hello@lorisowen.com
She is currently working on the US edit of her middle-grade literary fiction novel, 'The Ten Riddles of Eartha Quicksmith', published in the UK by Firefly Press. It's clean fiction, is a fantasy action adventure for fans of Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter, and has been described as "Big Hero 6 meets Gravity Falls"!
Puzzles and riddles encourage critical thinking, and teamwork, empathy, family and friendships are important throughout. You can find out more at www.quicksmiths.com.
As she’s self-publishing in the US with no author presence there, and only has a small budget to do this, I'm really keen to help to spread the word to other reviewers!
She can send you a copy of the UK print (whether you are based in the UK or US) any time. The US print version won't be available for another month or so as she is still finalising illustrations and final touches.
If you interested, please email Loris at hello@lorisowen.com! Let her know if you'd like the UK print or prefer to wait for the US print :)
If you are not based in the UK or US, let her know as well. I’m not entirely sure if she ships internationally, but you can always check! Her ebook will be ready to share in a few more weeks as well.

If you are interested in reading an Advance Review Copy of my new 2024 Young Adult title (Pub date: June 1, 2024) Animals Rising, please follow the link to www.animalsrising.com to request a digital or physical copy.I hope that you will consider reading and reviewing this new book!
Offering heart-stopping adventure and forbidden romance, this break-out young adult novel delivers a story as shocking as The Hunger Games with a thought-provoking allegory about the casual acceptance of slaughtering animals for food.
The book alternates in perspectives between Hawk, an 18-year-old boy, who lives in a human village deep in the forest, hidden from the giant ones, and Mira, a 17-year-old girl, whose people came to this land several generations ago and were told by their gods that hunting the small human animals would save them from starvation.
Mira has grown up in a medieval town in this new land, and she is now at an age when she is being pressured to find a boy to marry.
However, when she learns that the human animals in the forest are rapidly being hunted to extinction, she sets aside any thoughts of settling down and becomes determined to save the wild humans from the hunters—and the butchers.
Her resolve is tested when she comes face to face with Hawk, who has secretly entered Mira’s town on a terrifying mission. Mira’s involvement with this wild human boy could have far-reaching consequences—it could help save humanity . . . or end it.
