Hey so I watched the latest PJO show and I am so mad I am literally in the middle. Like it is way better than the movie but it is like off the script from the books.

is it kinda like harry potter? not like the plot, more like number of books, character growth etc. if this makes sense?
I really agree with you. I read the books a few years ago, and the series is good, but they changed the script completely
I still haven't seen the last episode that came out but there were so many mistakes in the previous episodes
wish i could watch it but i don't have disney+ 😭😭and i can't really remember many details from the books bc i read them when i was 9 or 10 hahah, i remember loving them though!!
I’m with u Nina but my friends they keep pestering me to read it so might as well. Is it worth it to read?
kaia - u should def read itt! i read it a while ago but am planning on rereading soon to see if i love it as much as i didbut it's definitely worth it!!
are the books worth reading as a teen?? i feel like most the teens i see that like pjo are in it because of the nostalgia and cuz it was good writing when they were little kids. most the books i read are pretty mature, but i recently read bridge to terabitha and coraline and enjoyed them so idk.
yeah i read them when i was 10 so i get the nostalgia bit, but also, it’s just a genuinely good series! if you’re a big mythology person like me i think you’d love it :)
i thought they might be too young since i’ve never read them before and now i’m readying the first book and i love it so far!
Ash - I started the series when I was 12/13 and I loved it so I think it’s still rlly suitable for teenagers :)
I started reading them when I was eight but I understand them so much better now as a teen so yes I would definitely read them

Has anyone watched the new Disney+ show? If so, what do you think of it, whether you’ve read the books or not
I've watched all but the most recent episode of the show and the books shall forever be superior. Thank you and goodnight.
I love the pjo show so much. I know there are parts that aren’t like the books, and I definitely have my petty complaints, but overall it’s so good.
thanks guys! im really intersted in 'the sun and the star' series. can i read that before pjo? i noticed the syllabess included percy and Annabeth so I'm unsure
Honestly, The Sun and The Star was written as a stand-alone book. If you choose to read it first there are some inside jokes you won't understand considering the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus series but it's still a good book.
The Sun and The Star is currently a single novel, but I'd for sure read Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo beforehand. I don't think everything would make sense without backstory. (Not to mention spoilers if you decide to read the other books later!)
