lexi | 5 comments Hey, I just thought I would recommend using Common Sense Media for anyone interested. It is a website that has been super helpful for me. Their website reviews tons of books and movies! They give age ratings and tell you what to expect. They rank how much sexual content or swearing is involved, as well as violence and other things. They give a brief description of what is involved in the book or movie that makes each category ranked what it is. They also tell you which swear words are used in the book or movie and the number of times they are used. All you have to do is Google Common Sense Media and the book or movie you want to see the review for. They don't have everything, but they have tons of stuff, and most popular books and movies are there. I use it all of the time and would definitely recommend it for anyone trying to find out if a book is clean or not. Hope that helps!

Iris Kerns | 49 comments yep definitely recommend it, only problem is it doesn't have many books that are technically adult, mostly just kids to YA

Dora Dix | 8 comments Common sense media is my backbone. I rely on it like a crutch. I have found that a lotta books should actually be higher on the swearing/smut/alcohol rating than they actually are. I recommend "Plain Bad Heroines" by Emily m. Danforth. It is so awesome. it is not on common sense unfortunately. But trust me, it is good.
xoxo Dora
