i've read the first 5 chapters
what were your thoughts?

mine: love their names- pepper & paige, like seriously how cute!
i like the dual povs, but would still like the chapters to be numbered!

wondering...
-how good pepper and her dad's relationship is
-if paige and her mum will be on good terms again
-if it was intentionally called grandma's grilled cheese or if it was just a coincidence
-how much longer pepper can hold it together!
-if jack or landon is pepper's soulmate lol. guessing jack.
-what caused pepper to change so much? the stress??

I'm also wondering what caused pepper to change...it probably was the stress, or pressure to fit in. I feel like the grilled cheese thing could just be a coincidence, but the name being so similar and everything...I'm not too sure. I'm also curious about jack and his relationship with his family. And I'm excited to learn more about him and Pepper. Oh and, I agree with you on the chapters not being numbered, would definitely be helpful !

Some parts feel a little rushed, but I’m excited to see where the story goes and how everything ties together in the end. What are your thoughts so far?

yeah i feel like after so long of not knowing each other, it wasn't realistic to make jack and pepper, like, instant friends. and everything is escalating quickly and it's not even half way!

yeah I agree with you, definitely wasn’t realistic but hopefully their friendship will make more sense soon

Hey! It's okay don't worry, I'm around the same page. What are your thoughts on the past few chapters? I thought they were okay, but some things just didn’t make sense.

yeah like everything felt a bit like there were gaps and stuff- i think it's her debut novel which would honestly make a lot of sense. idk. i just feel like it could be way more realistic. also i don't get why pepper did no travel at all.

I agree! The storyline is a bit of a mess. I feel like a lot of Pepper's story been unrealistic, and some things in the book were just thrown in for no reason

mmm yeah for sure!! i googled it though and apparantly it's the author's first book so i feel like i can give her a little slack due to that
