Lassie was literally an "on the road" book. Every so often when life stresses abound, I need to return to heartwarming children's literature.

2. The Gentle Spirit by Fyodor Dostoevsky (1876) Feb 25, 2024 2* Russia

This is a short story I never should have read. It was depressing and did me no good.

I had a Hush Puppy Box as a kid with the dog on the lid and kept all my treasures inside.

I’m actually not done, Jazzy. When I check in front of the book titles then I’ll be finished.

That’s a shame, Kathy - but you are still a long way ahead of me! I’ve spent ages trying to decide what to read instead of actually reading.
