What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I believe I read this between 2017-2019, not too sure. It's a fiction fantasy type of book. Basically it was this girl, I'm pretty sure she was tasked to save a city or something similar, but at some point I think she realized that she was tricked into helping the "evil" side. I'm also sure that the city was named something like "belladoma" or "beladora" something very similar that starts with "Bella". What I AM most sure about is the ending. SPOILERS: In the end, when everything has ended and she did end up saving the place, she turns into a flower. a red flower I believe. I got this book from my public library

NEW DETAILS: The book was a purple/darkish color. I don't think there were any drawings of the characters but if there was an image it most likely was.

I'll double up on Monstrous or something within its series. It talks a lot about red roses in descriptions I've read and I looked up the ending and it seems to match, but its true the cover isn't what I'd picture from your description.

The two cities in Monstrous are called Bryre and Belladoma.
