Up to chapter 3. Hmmm interesting start.. very interesting.

90 pages in. Quite few things happened.

Wow! Just few chapters read, but so much is happening! Hard to say without spoilers 😕. Kahlan and Richard have no easy way through life... Few kinda new characters in...

Just started... This will be a hard one...

Deffo... Prophecies and people who are not nice at all and do all to mess up Richard's life...

Up to chapter 20. Zedd is finally back to story! Hmmm... Situation looks bit grimm...

Through Ch. 7... (view spoiler)[ Richard's old girlfriend showing up because of Shota bothers me... And that wizard in the dungeon bothers me. The two of them showing up at the same time can't be just an innocent convenience...

I can't believe I am rooting for the ladies who used to torture Richard now that they are trying to protect him... I hope they don't turn on him... (hide spoiler)]

Through Ch. 19... As you said, good to see Zedd and Ann again:) However, (view spoiler)[ Richard's new brother, Drefan Rahl, the healer, really bothers me! Something is really wrong with him and I don't trust him at all. Also, he was way too free with his hands when it came to the ladies...

About Nadine, I don't think she is the brightest person around, but I don't think she is evil or anything... I wonder why she was led to be here at this time... (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 22.... Why do there always have to be rapes?! That is always very difficult for me to read...:(((

Up to Ch. 26... (view spoiler)[ That murder torture scene in the brothel was horrible! I am almost sure the killer is Richard's brother! It has to be! (hide spoiler)]

Ch. 27... OK, now I am thinking it could be that diplomat from the kingdom that believes in the Star omens and is going to be staying in the castle for a while... It's between him and Drefan...

I am up to Ch. 45... I really dislike the serial killer, and I want to know who the hell he is!!!

Ok, is it me, or can Richard be really, really immature at times?

I didn't have much time to read today, I'm around chapter 25 or 26... I think Richard's half-brother is this killer... Maybe I'm wrong... I just don't like him from the start... He seems bit too slimy to me...

Yeah, he and that dude from the kingdom that believes in the Star omens, the two of them are my main suspects. But I dislike the brother very much!!!

Also, I am not a fan of Nathan sleeping with the lady librarian... I thought he and Ann, the old prallet of the Sisters of Light, were meant for each other... I am kind of disappointed in him. At the point where I am, about Ch. 46, he is playing a dangerous game. I hope he is just pretending that he is willing to work with the evil guys, but is still on the good guys side...

With Richard is ... Hard to say really... Sometimes he does behave immature, but he's still learning to be someone he never even dreamed to be. He's life was so much easier when he was wood guide... Now he lives under enormous pressure and lost of times he has no idea what to do...

That is true, and I know the Sword and being a Seeker make his temper flair up, but I wish he would get better control over it...

No night reading for me tonight... My eyes are closing.. I had brill day out with my little man. Back home with nine books, most of them basically brand new, love charity shops me 😁.

In some point he will control his temper... Or not 🤣. We'll find out one way or another 😁

Finished. I will wait for you to discuss, but I have to say, those last 15 chapters were intense! The author really puts his characters through the ringer and some of the scenes are difficult to read... I am satisfied with the ending though...

Up to chapter 50. Wow! Nathan is doing very interesting thing! Is he betraying everybody or manipulating bad guys?

Up to chapter 60. Holy crap! But I was right to not like slimy half-brother of Richard...

Nathan is smart and manipulative, but I don't think he is a bad dude... He is an interesting wild card!

Half brother is horrible!!!!!!!!!

Finished! Good read this one! So... When we're reading next one?
