message 9: by Emily (new)

Emily M | 29 comments Great! Some that are on my TBR are:
- The Space Between Worlds (Sci Fi)
- The Night Watch (Historical fiction)
- Gideon the Ninth (seconding Alesha's suggestion. Fantasy/Sci-fi)

Also a suggestion: Maybe we could have one book of the month for "romance focused" and one for "other genre + romance subplot/sapphic rep" or maybe plan to alternate them? Based on prior book group experience, books in one category may not appeal to fans of the other...though, of course, some people like both!

Tegan Rosenbaum (tegan_mae_rosenbaum) | 1 comments My TBR list is waaaaay too long! So hard to choose. I’m actually reading 2 non-sapphic books at the moment (although sapphic books are definitely my “goto”!), but here are a couple that are in my top 10 from disparate sapphic sub-genres (all 2023 or 2024 released):

1. A Game of Hearts & Heists - Ruby Roe (book 1 of 3) : fantasy romance
2. A Perfect Fit - Kellen McKnight : sapphic romance w/ HEA
3. Controlled Burn - Sherryl D. Hancock : loss, love … amazing reviews but tearjerker
4. Aurora and the Wolf by MC Johnson : a shifter romance
5. Captive of the Crime Queen by Persephone Black : sapphic mafia romance / thriller

message 31: by Kirian (new)

Kirian | 2 comments I really liked the Sapph in the City series by Chelsea M. Cameron (Published 2024). The 3 books are nice and sweet, having backstories, good characters, chemistry between them and also a character development - which I prefer reading a book. They are also feel good stories with HEA - what I prefer at the moment :)

Hope you like them too.

Anne Margaux | 1 comments I have one that I wrote - first in the series. :)

I published Capitol Hill Hearts - book one of my lesbian ensemble series.
On KU and always want to hear your feedback. I'm finishing book 2 sometime this summer.
Haeley Bloom can arrange the perfect bouquet for anyone - except her own love life.
When her Seattle flower shop's holiday wreath becomes Capitol Hill's hottest gossip board, her friends stage an intervention: one Christmas Eve at Misty Cove, where the whole town is basically a lesbian holiday rom-com waiting to happen.
She showed up looking for nothing. She found a ribbon shop run by a woman who charges in courage, a pianist who could stop traffic, and a nurse who's been quietly receiving her anonymous flower deliveries for years.
Turns out, love has been leaving notes the whole time. She just wasn't reading them.
My best to you always..
Anne Margaux
