It's illustrated by Caldecott award winner, Brendan Wenzel. I'm looking forward to this title and Two Together. Two Together is also illustrated by Wenzel as well as written by him. Features a cat and dog. It looks amazing!

Margaret Alger | 5 comments Looking forward to The Yellow Bus by Loren Long. The cover and illustrations are phenomenal, esp how he paints the yellow bus in contrast to pencil b&w . The illustrations I have seen in preview are stunning!

Beth | 61 comments Fyi regarding a title chosen for April - Big Bear and Little Bear Go Fishing is not supposed to be released until May 7. Can we substitute it with another title that is already available?

Some possible choices:
Time to Make Art by Jeff Mack
What's New, Daniel? by Micha Archer
The House Before Falling into the Sea by Ann Suk Wang
Jump for Joy by Karen Gray Ruelle

As long as it isn't released in another country first, the book is eligible.

Rachel | 1 comments The Last Zookeeper was incredible; same with Big Bear and Little Bear Go Fishing. Such different feels to their illustrations but equally emotional. I wouldn't be mad about Iguanodon's Horn.

Holy Wow! Just wow! I will cherish this one for a long long time.

The Ship in the Window illustrated by Matthew Cordell.

I really like Jump for Joy, but I’m curious how it will be judged since some the of art isn’t necessarily original with the collages composed of antique etchings and illustrations. I loved it, though.
