I haven't heard of Rachel Bloom before, but so far, she sounds quite Autistic, or at the least, Neurodivergent. Have you read this book, what did you think of it?

I haven’t read the book yet (it’s been sitting on my shelf still wrapped in plastic for over a year… oops) but I’m a big fan of Rebecca Bloom due to her show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and I just wanted to say that I also agree she has given me autistic vibes! Her character on CxG has BPD (whom I believe was at least partially self-inspired) and I saw a lot of myself in her, before I got my autism diagnosis. Could be that there’s a lot of overlap in symptoms but I quietly headcanon her character as both.(Sorry if I repeated anything you already knew! As I say I haven’t yet read her book, just got excited because I love her and the show 😊 I really should read it one of these days…)
I haven't see the show either! I think there's a lot of overlap in Autism, ADHD and BPD tbh! Don't really know how to phrase this, but to anyone who is reading the book, I just couldn't stop laughing about the two 'Poo related' chapters! How on earth can I discuss this at Book Club?!!
I didn't know she had book, so when I saw it I got so excited too and I'm already half done! I find this a funny coincidence because last week I got my autism diagnosis and that day I was playing the whole day the "A diagnosis" song from her show, it's funny and relatable.About the book, I really like it so far, she talks about her life, ocd and career in a way that it never gets boring or uninteresting, so I genuinely want to read and know more about her. Oh and the poop chapters 🤣 yeah, I keep laughing when I remember them
