February's Bookmarked selection will be Out of Love by Hazel Hayes. We'll meet at the library at 6pm on Tuesday, February 13th in the Kentucky Room. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Circulation Desk for anyone wishing to participate. If you can't join us at the library, please feel free to leave your thoughts here. We'd love to know whether you enjoyed the book, had any favorite parts or characters, or if there were any quotes from the book you'd like to share. We want to know what you thought so be sure to join us!

Debra Diggs | 2445 comments I am not a romance reader, but this looks good. Maybe more psychology than sappy romance. I will give it a try late this month.

It's more of a contemporary fiction rather than a romance. It is definitely more psychology than a sappy romance. Share your thoughts if you decide to give this one a try.

You're very welcome. Hope it helps. :)

Debra Diggs | 2445 comments Finished.

It was more interesting than anything else. I kept thinking "hind-sight really is 20/20". Some parts were depressing and I wanted it to move on. The ending was disappointing. I just kind of shrugged and thought "well, that's it".

I did not have any trouble with the story moving backward. That was kind of the best part of the book. I think I would have been bored if it moved forward/regular.

I disliked the swearing. It was not necessary. Did not add to the story at all.

Your thoughts were similar to the majority of people at the book club meeting. Ratings ranged from 1-4 stars, so it was a bit all over the place. For the most part people gave it like 3 stars I think. It was just okay for most.
