Alanna walks into the woods with a basket of food. She tales out a knife if she wanted to hunt

Carlos entered the woods, he always carried a gun with him but this time he brought an army knife with him so as not to scare animals away.

Alanna heard footsteps and jumped to her feet gripping her knife "Hello?" She calls out into the woods

" Hi " a guy's voice says from the left side of the woods closest to Alanna, the left side of the woods was where district 1 entered the woods when they wanted to.

Alanna looks around and sees it came from the district one side and groaned "Your a Career"

" Yea, I'm a Career. If your wondering what one is doing out here. Just taking a walk to go find some of my little traps for the foxes that have been around lately. Pesky foxes always taking the food that people hunt out here. Name's Carlos. Who are you? "

"I'm Alanna. And those foxes are helpful to the environment. The whole food chain would get messed up. Its not like they're harming anyone" Alanna says breaking a piece of bread off a loaf

" Well ok, not all of them. But aside from their stealing. Well.......you said harming they actually did harm someone last week if you didn't know."

Alanna sighs "The person was provoking them. They were taunting it. I was there, by the way" she said twirling her glass slipper necklace in her hand

" If you saying that about my cousin, she actually wasn't provoking them. Rosella isn't that kind of person. You were there, but you saw it from an angle that was what made you think it was provoking. She actually tried to pet one and it attacked. I know because I was with her when you were just watching. "

Alanna put a piece of bread in her mouth and said "Well, foxes are dangerous and she shouldn't have tried to pet one" but it came out "wmm, foxesh urdangeshsghfw"

" She can be quite stubborn if you ask me. Anyways, catch anything that isn't a fox lately? "

Alanna swallowed "I killed a deer yesterday" she answered proudly twirling her blonde hair

" Plenty of them about now that the wolves are gone back to their caves for the fall. "

Alanna nods "But the poor deer was a mom and her babies were right behind her. I felt so bad" she said with a sigh

" Only human. Did you hear about Karina's memorial at school? "

"No! I didn't! What happened!" Alanna said wide eyed then said "who the hell is Karina?"

" Karina Campo. District 12. Her little sister is still alive, of course. But Story that is circulating around school is that Rina died on her sister's 9th birthday. And Last week the school put up a memorial for Karina. "

Quietly flashes through the trees, causing bushes to shake and rattle and catching Carlos and Alanna's attention.

A loud gunshot echoes through the forest and nearby trees light on fire.

" Forest is on fire, we can talk about what people are saying at school later "

Alanna nods "Lets-Lets go" she starts running

He ran in the opposite direction as the fire was coming.

Alanna runs out of the way and out of the woods

He just barely escapes the fire and runs out of the forest, alive but his right arm got burned.

Smiles at Alanna and Cortana evilly

Zu watched from the top of a tree down at the rabbit. She needed to bring home a meal and the little guy was going to have to make a sacrifice.
"Come on little guy, we're going to do a little Watership Down "

"Can you swim?" Dove walks up behind Zu after following her for a bit to fill her boredom

Zu spun around surprised and fell off her branch
"what...how did you- where....HUH?!"
She looked at the young girl who was just up to her shoulder.
"Uh..yes...why? And who are you anyway?"

"Dove." She shrugged as if it were same. "Can I come?"

Zu was unsure about bringing her along. She was more concerned about Dove's safety than her own
"can you look after yourself?"

"Yeah I can,"

Quin shoots arrow at rabbit while Dove and Zu were talking. "Haha" grabs rabbit and dashes away. "Snooze ya lose"

Zu shook her fist and yelled after the thief
"OI!! YOU EGG NUGGET!!! THAT WAS MINE"

((Egg nugget? Seriously? I mean, is that even a saying?))

Quinn makes a small fire in a clearing and eats. Then she feels bad for stealing the whole rabbit and only eats a leg. She wraps the rest and tries to find Zu. "Hello? I... I brought some rabbit if u want some?"

Zu was already preying on another animal and making sure Dove was safe. She heard a rustle from the bushes and made eye contact with the thief
"You!" She said while pointing an accusing finger at the rabbit robber

Quin holds hands in the air. "I-I felt bad for taking your food and... Here," holds out wrapped food. "I was just really hungry... And never had meat before..."

Zu eyed her suspiciously and slowly took the meat
"Thanks...you could eat with us, I need to hunt more anyway. Who are you?"

Dove runs over and see the rabbit. " can I have some?"

Zu ruffles Dove's hair
"Sure why not. Might as well make this a picnic!"

"Can we sit in the tree."

((Sorry, my wifi went out so I couldn't answer sooner))
"I'm Quin, from 11. Who are you?"

Looks at dove. "Hey, I know you from school. Well, at least I've seen u at school. I never talk to anyone. And obviously I'm not so good around other people."

Rina observes Alanna and Carlos from a tree. What was with her always bumping into Alanna. Then she remembers that Alanna was very interesting to her. But she couldn't place why.
