Eliza was sitting on a large rock, just near the river.

Ethan was using some of his own tactics to attempt to fish, he was not very good at the fishing tactic but at least he was trying.

Eliza looked around the river, seeing a guy trying to fish, " It's all in the wrist," Eliza called out to him.

" Thanks. I used to fish as a kid, but lost the touch. " Ethan responded as he began using his wrist to help out. He then look over at the girl while waiting for a fish to bite, " I'm Ethan. Haven't seen you around much or if I have it was most likely at school. What's your name? " He said.

" I'm Eliza Matthews, and I normally don't come around much," Eliza replied hopping off the rock to stand next to the boy.

" That's a pretty name and your pretty. District 13 I'm guessing ? "

Eliza blushed and she never blushed. " Yep," Eliza answered.

" Same. Weird that we haven't met till now, but time is just one funny thing that throws you into one situation and then the next. So, did you hear about the memorial at school for the District 12 girl's older sister, Karina. People are saying Rina died 6 years ago on her younger sister's birthday. " Ethan said, except through the whole thing he was blushing as well.

" Oh I heard about that, sad thing, having your older sibling die on your birthday," Eliza says sitting next to the boy.

" Yea. Stupid Hunger Games. Why can't the capital just leave us be? "

" I have no clue, nor would I want to know," Eliza answers.

" Yea, strange people they are. " Ethan said as he reeled in a fish, catching one.

Eliza watches and she walks back to the big rock and she brings out her fishing equipment.

He put the one fish in the container he had brought with him and cast out to get another fish.

Eliza walks back over to Ethan and she sits next to him again.

He smiled at her and continued fishing.

Eliza gets her rod ready with bait and she threw her line out into the water with perfection.

A large fish caught on the end of Ethan's pole after waiting for a while. He reeled it in and put it in the container with the other fish. He cast out again and waited, the bait on his rod just waiting around for more fish.

Eliza pulled in what seemed like a catfish, " Awesome," Eliza said and she took the catfish and she put it inside a cooler.

" Looks like their really been biting today " Ethan responded, while reeling in a large bass or other type of fish and he dumped the bucket of fish into a cooler that he had brought. He put the bass in the cooler with the rest of the fish. He put the bucket back in his fishing pack and then continued to fish for more interesting fish.

Eliza was only half listening as she reeled in what looked like a dog fish, (( A type of fish that looks like a shark, and is the size of a dog)), Eliza pulled it until it flopped onto the ground in front of them, Eliza jumped back to avoid it's flipping and flopping.

" Holy .... " Ethan started to say, but he too jumped out of the dog fish's way.

Eliza set down her rod and she grabbed a hold of the large fish, she took a small knife from her pocket and cleanly slit the fishes throat, the fish went limp.

Ethan went back to fishing with his rod. The dog fish incident was pretty interesting though.

Eliza contiued if fish, putting the Dog fish into her cooler.
