Chosen (cheetahnight) | 37 comments I hate how LGBTQ+ is now in every main stream media.
I have no hate, it is just in kid's media as well!
It is just that kids should not be learning about sex and stuff!
It is also a problem in the church.
(It is worse when many do not see homosexuality as an abomination in the bible)
No disrespect or hate, just a rant.

Thank you, most people do not see the facts to it and it intoxicating the youth!
Many would take my comment as Transphobic or Homophobic.
I am not scared nor hating of them; just the sin.

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

SO TRUE TOTALLY AGREE.

message 9: by Chosen (new)

Chosen (cheetahnight) | 37 comments THEY LITERALLY MADE ALMOST EVERY CHARACTER IN KIDS SHOWS GAY! (Or borderline gay, like it is a sin to be heterosexual)
They seem to think being straight is the most vial hate crime!
When I said I was straight, a Bi-sexual guy told me I should be Bi but only attracted to girls!
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!
Apparantly being straight still means you would date trans-people.
That is still GAY!

I literally almost committed suicide once because of sexual assualt from gay guys! (They touched my rear, so did girls but pls NO)

(Maybe a biased but still-)

message 12: by jaye💐 (new)

jaye💐 So I have a good friend who is a guy. We text and hang out a lot but are strictly friends. A girl from our church (who is 8) saw us hanging out and started a rumor at church saying that I liked him and that he had a secret crush. She totally made it up and it made for a very awkward conversation with him. Why do eight years olds love drama so much????

BooksNCrannies (booksncranniesofficial) | 286 comments I totally agree with Chosen about the LGBTQ agenda. It's sad to see so many fall prey to this lie Satan spreads in the world. May we be the salt of the earth and shine the Light. A great book to read on this subject is The Christian's Guide to the Gender & Marriage War by Bodie Hodge, Ken Ham, and Avery Foley. Also check out Bryan Osborne's Quick Answers to Social Issues — it's a great book.

message 18: by Kyrie (new)

Kyrie | 52 comments Yeah I also agree about the LGBT stuff. The sheer amount of shows or books or games that I've had to drop because of LGBT content is off the charts. I also hate how love is being rebranded as unconditional acceptance and disagreeing with someone about issues like this is automatically considered hateful...

message 20: by ⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ (last edited Feb 13, 2024 12:22PM) (new)

⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ ikkk!! crazy story, so last year there was this boy who decided he wanted to be a girl and use she/her pronouns, and we were friends so it was really hard because i respect him as a person, but i don't agree with his decision. all of our friend group every time i used he would actually freak out and it was super annoying. and then they were saying that maybe next year he would be able to use the girl's locker room, so i called my mom and told her even though it wasn't a current problem. literally the next week i'm changing and he walks in with a group of girls and i panicked. so i went home and told my mom and she said the principal didn't tell any of the parents. he just decided that this was a good decision to have a boy in the girls locker room. and he gave the kid options. we have like, gender neutral stalls, so the principal gave him the option to change there, or not change at all, but no, he had to go to a different gender locker room.
and after, some of the people in my group were saying how so many parents were calling the principal complaining about him, and they were like "it's not a big deal, just accept it" and like rolling their eyes and stuff. i just said nothing, because my parents were some of the ones calling.
it was such an inconvenience for me though, because i had to stop changing for pe and sports all together.

📚 Alana (professional book nerd)(officially 18!) | -5 comments Thats so sad! I'm so sorry gurl thats sad

message 22: by katelyn (new)

katelyn That sucks. No ones like that but if, during athletics, that happened, I would actually freak. That’s really sad too. Hopefully god helps his heart ❤️

⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ yeah, me too. i don't hang out with them anymore, they were kind of being jerks and don't respect my religion or personal boundaries.

message 24: by Kyrie (new)

Kyrie | 52 comments girl that's crazy, I hope you found some better friends

message 26: by katelyn (new)

katelyn yeah that’s a red flag. at my school, boys can be so snobby about how they’re better than us, mainly in sports. I’m not someone who is childish about how I don’t like boys. especially because males are naturally built different- that’s how god created them. I just wish they weren’t so critical. It’s especially hard bc of basketball, boys and girls both play so it makes it easier for them to compare. just keep your comments to yourself, you know?

⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ uhg, i hate that. i haven't done school sports in a while bc of that, but i've been going back to it these past couple years. so far so good though

message 28: by Chosen (new)

Chosen (cheetahnight) | 37 comments I hate it when a man gets gender reassignment surgery and does sports with girls to get medals.
That is a cowardice mentality (Girls are strong, but ti change to one to win because you couldn't with males is unacceptable!)

⋅˚₊‧ ୨ jocelyn ୧ ‧₊˚ strongly agree. or like when lgbt people are like, we live in such a straight world. honey what. every corner i turn there's a new flag to represent someone.

message 30: by Chosen (new)

Chosen (cheetahnight) | 37 comments exactly.
3% seems to increase too much.
As a black person, we don't even get THAT much representation!

message 31: by Chosen (new)

Chosen (cheetahnight) | 37 comments Nowadays, gender is decided on someones deranged illusions and preferences.
Cat Fairy Doll is a gender!
That doesnt make sense at ALL.
Yet me being straight and identifying as male (As I was born) Is a crime or something!
Wake up, don't get woke

frrr i keep seeing these videos where people are saying how their pronouns are angelpaw and angelpawself and i'm just sitting here like what?? that's not really how it works.
and same, me being straight and being an identical female is weird to some people!! i've run into people who have just told me i should be bisexual, which is not ok.

Izzy Porter (ice_cream_party) Separate rant: I can never stay concentrated on my school, it doesn’t matter whether there are or aren’t distractions 🥲

Today it’s a matter of distractions (my phone [which I honestly should get off now] and my brother) but sometimes I’m home alone and my phone is hidden under pillows and I just can’t not space off

I always feel awful when I remember that the LGBTQ community is wrong because I'm surrounded by Christians which the majority straight up HATE on the community calling them slurs and insulting them and its js like, thats not what God called you to do???
God wanted us to love and respect others and ofc youre not supposed to support their sin, but how do you expect them to want anything to do w/ God or the church when all you do is spit on them and such??

like i have a bunch of LGBTQ friends and I've told them that I couldn't support them in that area, and they were understanding about it even if some of them didn't want it brought up but like i wasnt aggressive about it so neither were they and thats what a lot of Christians DONT understand and it truly irks me that its "love everyone!" until theyre different from you :/

Thats true, I hate seeing that. I am also Christian, and when people do that its just awful, we are supposed to love the person but hate the sin! Its so sad, and I hate when I see it especially sometimes within my own family... :(

message 38: by Tayjah (new)

Tayjah I agree with Squeaker
The lgbt is constantly being bashed for “imposing sex” on child in media as if mainstream music artist aren’t doing that same thing but more explicit. I’ve seen kids younger than 10 idolizing Ice Spice and Sexyy Redd but when a movie shows two men kissing all of sudden we up in arms.

Honestly i don’t have a negative or positive view on lgbt. I treat them how I would any other person. I will respect you if you respect me. Who you love, what surgery you get, or your pronouns is not my business and doesn’t affect my day to day life. Honestly let’s just learn to love and respect each other.

message 39: by katelyn (new)

katelyn yeah i also totally agree with squeakers (see earlier comment from me above) : )

message 40: by Tayjah (new)

Tayjah Wait what…? When you say feminine nails, you mean painted nails? Just bc someone owns something pink doesn’t necessarily mean that they are gay.

And what’s wrong with wearing sweatshirts that show support for hbcu?? We are not oppressing ourselves AT ALL. It’s literally the same as joining a culture or religious club at your school. Like a club for Hispanics, Asians, Christian’s, Muslim, Autism. Not to separate ourselves but to be in an environment that share our same culture, experience, views, etc.
It also doesn’t hurt to do more research on the how important of black colleges are to the black community and the overall history 👍🏽

message 41: by Tayjah (new)

Tayjah But you can also be black and support hbcu while having conservative/catholic views. Theres no way that says that they contradict each other

message 42: by Tayjah (new)

Tayjah Oof I can’t type but I hope you understand the point i was trying to make despite the typos 😂

message 43: by jaye💐 (new)

jaye💐 I obviously didn’t see the guy but if you felt uncomfortable, I’m sorry. And I also believe as a person of color myself, I don’t support colleges for a single race. I do think it is a form of racism to only include one group of people simply based on the color of their skin. If there was a white only college, people would go nuts.

message 45: by Kyleigh ୨୧ (new)

Kyleigh ୨୧ okay so I actually don't go to church (I'm sorry) but I want to SO BAD. I've been getting closer to God and praying every morning and night, and I've been listening to that music and stuff. I also am planning on starting to Bible study soon!! BUT my mother won't take us to church. she believes in God and everything, not super heavily or anything, but she just doesn't wanna wake up early on Sundays, and she doesn't wanna go to a church and see a bunch of people she knows cus it's a small town. and it really super duper angers me cus I wanna go so bad!! She angers me haha.

ALSO this boy I like told me the other day that if I were a flower I'd be a magnolia and yeah, im in love with him :)

I know it's not quite the same because you don't get the community aspect, but you could try finding a church that livestreams their services on YouTube or something so you can still listen to the the sermons. Mine does that and that way when I miss a service (oops) I can still watch it later. It's better than nothing, but I'm sorry you can't go in person :(
