• In the Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros has a character that goes off into the military

-Movie adaptation
•The Host by Stephanie Meyer is one of my all time favorites that was turned into a movie.

-Spring Covers

•Damsel by Elana K. Arnold has a beautiful cover and I'm open to buddy reading as well!

•All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater has flowers on the cover.

-War
•The Poppy War by R. F Kuang is an epic fantasy that takes place during a war.


-Movie Adaptation
•The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken is a book turned into a movie and is also one of my all time favorites!

•A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks is an amazing movie, but I also haven't gotten around to reading the book yet.

- Spring Covers

•Descendent of the Crane looks like a high fantasy with a Spring Cover.

•The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros has a military romance with some angst.

•The Woman by Kristin Hannah has harsh realities of War for women


- Movie Adaptation
•The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is a gut wrenching novel that was also turned into a movie.

•I am Number 4 by Pittacus Lore This book had a really nice concept and a good movie.

•Beastly by Alex Flynn has flowers on the cover.

•Mermaid Moon by Susann Cokal has flowers on the cover and the MC is a Mermaid.

The Poppy War (The Poppy War, #1) by R.F. Kuang very dark but fantasic, also revolves around war.

By the Book (Meant to Be, #2) by Jasmine Guillory spring cover

Tress of the Emerald Sea (The Cosmere, #28) by Brandon Sanderson bonus pick

Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle sort of a spring cover and super cute

Cytonic (Skyward, #3) by Brandon Sanderson kind of war based

The Dragon Republic (The Poppy War, #2) by R.F. Kuang you should continue the series!

Jade City (The Green Bone Saga, #1) by Fonda Lee lots of political intrigue

All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata really enjoyed this one and I think you might too

Code Name Hélène by Ariel Lawhon based on a real woman who we should be hearing more about
The First Stop (A Thousand Li, #2) by Tao Wong not a ton of war in this one but still, here is your push to continue the series.

薬屋のひとりごと 1 Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 1 (The Apothecary Diaries Nekokurage , #1) by Nekokurage I havent read the manga yet but the anime is so fun

All This Twisted Glory (This Woven Kingdom, #3) by Tahereh Mafi the pastel colours and flowers are spring like and you seem to be enjoying the series so why not continue
Betting on You by Lynn Painter cover colour still feels springlike to me

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn one of my favourite books, Just such a well done historical fiction set during the war
The Black Gryphon (Mage Wars #1) by Mercedes Lackey some old school fantasy for a change of pace
Prince of Fools (The Red Queen's War, #1) by Mark Lawrence A darker more current fantasy that is supposed to be so good

The Liar's Crown (Dominions, #1) by Abigail Owen all those flowers are springlike. Plus it sounds like a good read
The League of Lady Poisoners Illustrated True Stories of Dangerous Women by Lisa Perrin in case you need a nonfiction instead, plus im curious about this one.

Resistance Women by Jennifer Chiaverini different type of story from WWII as it looks more at the everyday life of how one survives during atrocities such as those committed during this time and the ways in which they can fight back.
Warrior Wench (The Asarlaí Wars, #1) by Marie Andreas on KU and Ive heard good things about it

If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman this book made me cry, it was beautifully done. The movie was disappointing.
