Great Middle Grade Reads discussion

Hello, readers! I've been having a fantastic time finding books that coordinate with our rainbow-themed reading challenges this month. It's been a wonderful way to beat the winter blues.

Show & Tell: What is your go-to rainy day read?

I finished Operation Sisterhood last week, so I'll drop by the discussion post before the end of the month.

Rainy Day Read? Hmm. In a general sense, I like print books for rainy days, so I can slip off my headphones and enjoy the sound of rain outside the window. It's a cozy feeling. And if I'm in the mood for cozy, I reach for old favorites & comfort reads. The kinds of stories that give me the kinds of *feels* that I want to recapture.

I think I'm somewhat the opposite! I love mysteries or suspenseful stories on a rainy day. I think rain lends to the Gothic mood for me.
