She named the property after her mother. This was because of the way her great uncle treated her mother.
I liked that she did it for her mother and it's a way of sticking it to her uncle. At the same time, her mother kept her from pursuing a music career and laid a guilt trip on her. I know it's beneficial in the end and that it was for her own good but it messed with Isabel's head and may her doubt her own worth imo.
Naming the preserve for her mother was what I expected Isabel to do as a final up yours to the uncle.
